Ok. Don’t judge but I’m a BIG Twilight fan (I know, who would’ve thought?!). I absolutely love the series – but to be honest, I just love Stephanie Meyer’s imagination and style of writing. The movie was everything Twilight fans were waiting for, although obviously having watched Breaking Dawn at a Malaysian cinema, they cut the love-making scene. Typical. But what I wanted to highlight about the movie was Bella’s silk gown that was designed by Carolina Herrera. It was incredibly sexy yet understated-ly elegant at the same time. And I loved the way they slowly directed our views to each part of the dress – it started from the back shoulders, down to the laced cut-out plunging back and finally to the detailed stitching on the bodice. Perfection I tell you. I could stare at that dress all day.

We got the keys to the new condo yesterday! We’ve got 4 weeks to deck the place out and move all of our belongings in. So I thought I’d start by slowly packing my stuff into little manageable boxes (partly due to boredom but more to excitement) and found my Chanel temporary tattoos! I pretty much forgot all about packing and started pasting myself instead. Nice, no?
December is upon us and that means one thing – presents! And we all love presents, especially ones that you can’t afford. Haha! So this year I’m really feeling accessories. I’ve been really lazy with my wardrobe lately and find that I could do with a couple more ‘ooumpph‘ pieces to help jazz or complete my look. So my current top 5 are:
The Row’s Day Luxe Tote
I know, I’m nuts. But I couldn’t help myself! I had to buy it. I don’t care if it’s 33 degrees Celsius out. I’ll just wear it when it rains and stay in air-conditioned areas. I’ll make a trip to Fraser’s Hill if I have to. But love, love, love everything about this Zara sweater. The texture, the length of the sleeves to the gold speckles webbed all over the fabric.
When I was back in London I remember going nuts for the Diego. But then the Olsens came up with a more tantalizing version at probably (actually, factually) 10 times the price. I would be more than happy to settle for the calfskin, thank you very much. But now, Celine has come up with their own interpretation of the trendy backpack in their Spring 2012 collection. What do you think?
Attended a food tasting session at SDCC. I’m not a big food critic, I’m rather easy to please. As long as you don’t give me Brussels sprouts. The shoes on my feet are actually bedroom slippers so the soles are really slippery! It definitely took some time for me to wear them in. But you don’t have to do that anymore – there are loads of slipper loafers in high street and luxury brands now with proper rubber soles. The ones above are from Church’s.
And we’re off to a weekend of fun and relaxation. No boys, no stress, just 4 girls… and lots and lots pampering. I can’t wait! Don’t even know where I’m driving to but my bag’s packed and I’m rearing to go. Bikinis, check. Sunglasses, check. Ipod, check! Road trip, road trip!
I just hope I don’t burn or worst, tan! Ha ha, I’m such an Asian!
Have a good weekend, everyone!
